One of the best places for a drink in the city is the observation bar on top of Sears Tower – The tallest building in the USA. Despite the high prices of the drinks, the view from the top of the building is absolutely outstanding, and whether you see it during the day, when you can see for nearly 100 miles, or at night when you are surrounded by an ocean of electric lighting, it is a remarkable thing.

The Hill Street Blues bar is located on a side street just off Michigan Avenue, and is one of the hottest live music venues in Chicago. Having been established since the 1960s, it remains a great place to see musicians play, and is particularly popular on the weekend, when there are regular drinks promotions.

There are also plenty of sports bars in Chicago where you can enjoy a few drinks and watch the Bears and the Cubs playing on the big screen. With major league teams in all the main American sports, Chicago has plenty of sports fans, and when there is a big match on, the bars can get really rowdy, and the atmosphere inside ensures that you will have plenty of fun watching the game.
